2Purchase Services
Access the Account – Purchase Services menu of the control panel to purchase the correct membership level that fits your needs based on how many domains and what level of query traffic you require.

3Select Primary DNS or Secondary DNS?
If you use primary DNS, DNS Made Easy will replace GoDaddy name servers. If you use secondary DNS, DNS Made Easy will become a secondary DNS provider in conjunction with GoDaddy. If you want to use secondary DNS, you must have GoDaddy’s Premium DNS service to allow zone transfers to DNS Made Easy.

4Primary DNS – Create your Domain(s)

5Import your Records

  • Step 1 – Navigate to your domain an click on “Edit Zone”
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Advanced Settings” tab
  • Step 3 – Select the “DNSSEC” tab and make sure DNSSEC is disabled for your domain
  • Step 4 – Access the DNS Made Easy control panel, select your domain and click on the “Import Records” tab, select from “Name Server (AXFR)”, make note of the IP address (in yellow) DNS Made Easy provides for GoDaddy to allow transfer to.
  • Step 5 – Back in the GoDaddy control panel, Select the “Secondary DNS” tab and enable Secondary DNS, Configure zone as “Master”, enter the DNS Made Easy AXFR IP address for transfer obtained in Step 4
  • Step 6 – Obtain the IP address GoDaddy provides for transfers
  • Step 6 – In the DNS Made Easy control panel, enter the GoDaddy IP address

6Change Name Servers at the Registrar
Change the name servers at your registrar to include the 6 DNS Made Easy Primary Name Servers:

  • ns10.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.94.148.4
  • ns11.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.124.4
  • ns12.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.126.4
  • ns13.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.125.4
  • ns14.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.127.4
  • ns15.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.94.149.4

4Secondary DNS – Create your Domain(s)

5Set up Zone Transfer from GoDaddy

  • Step 1 – Navigate to your domain an click on “Edit Zone”
  • Step 2 – Click on the “Advanced Settings” tab

  • Step 4 – Select the “Secondary DNS” tab and enable Secondary DNS
  • Add NS Records into the GoDaddy Control Panel for each of the DNS Made Easy secondary name servers.

6Change Name Servers at the Registrar
Change the name servers at your registrar to include the 3 DNS Made Easy Secondary Name Servers:

  • ns6.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.124.13
  • ns7.dnsmadeeasy.com – 208.80.126.13
