The DNS Made Easy Domain Wizards

Having your domain completely configured in the DNS Made Easy system takes only seconds. In fact DNS Made Easy has made the task of administering enterprise DNS servers so simple that most novices can not believe that it takes less than a minute to add the domain in to the DNS Made Easy system.

This tutorial will walk you through how to add your domain into the DNS Made Easy system using the DNS Made Easy Domain Wizards.

Step 1
You will first need a domain. If you no not have a domain already then we recommend that you use our partner Domains Made Easy or that you use our DNS Made Easy domains.

Step 2
Log in or Create your account in the DNS Made Easy system.

Step 3
Click on Managed DNS on the Main Menu.

Step 4
Click on Add New Domain Wizard or Add Bulk Domain Wizard.

Add Bulk Domain Wizard is used if you want to add more than one domain into the DNS Made Easy system at the same time. All domains that you add this way will have the exact same configuration and record settings.

NOTE: If you do not have the Domain Wizards avalaible on your Domain Listing page then you have probably turned off this option. Visit Advanced DNS Settings on the Main Menu to turn your ability to use your wizards back on.

Step 5
Enter your domain names and your network configuration. Your possible network configurations are:

• You have one computer on one dynamic IP.
• You have one computer on one static IP
• You have a network of serveral computers on different IPs.

You can also entire when your domain will expire with your registrar if you want DNS Made Easy to monitor your expiration date.

Step 6
Enter the necessary IP information for your domain. Based on what network configuration you entered DNS Made Easy will ask you to enter one or more IP addresses.

Step 7
Confirm that your information is correct.

Step 8
Success, your domain and your records have been successfully entered into the DNS Made Easy system and you you are assigned a list of name servers for you to use to guarantee 100% uptime! You will now want to notify your registrar (the organization that you registered your domain with) of which name servers you want to point to your domain.
