Apply Failover / Monitoring to many domains at once.

Many of our DNS Made Easy customers have the exact same records for all of their domains. Their websites for all of their domains are pointing to the same IP and they use the same mail servers for all of their domains also. One thing that they may also want is to apply DNS Failover to all of their systems at once also.

Using the Record Set Templates is perfect for this. You can create a template and add your failover settings to the template. Then when you "lock" your template to your domain all of your domain's IPs will change when the failover occurs. Plus you will be able to apply failover to all of your domains by only using one of your failover / monitoring systems from quota.

Here are the simple steps that you will need to:

1. Create a Record Set Template.
2. Apply Failover / Monitoring to your records in the Record Set Template.
3. Lock your domains to your Record Set Template.
