Dynamic DNS Clients To make DNS Made Easy even easier we are making an IP update available by passing the parameters to a HTTP or HTTPS request. There are currently many free clients on the Internet that detect your IP and allow you to pass the necessary arguments in the URL. If you would like to develop a client and notify us we will list your product and URL on this page. Please email support@dnsmadeeasy.com to receive a full listing of the possible error codes returned. The current clients which have been developed by DNS Made Easy users are the following: UNIX / Linux Java / Cross Platform (UNIX / Linux/ Windows, Mac, etc.) Windows If you are intersted in making your hardware or software compatible with DNS Made Easy please see our technical specification page. NOTE: In your "Advanced DNS Settings" you can turn on an option to set a password per record so you do not have to use your main DNS Made Easy password / username. You can enter the record name for the "username" if you are using the special per-record password. http://www.dnsmadeeasy.com/servlet/updateip?username=<username>&password=<password>&id=<id>&ip=<your new ip> DNS Made Easy also supports SSL transactions. You can use this extra security by switching to HTTPS: https://www.dnsmadeeasy.com/servlet/updateip?username=<username>&password=<password>&id=<id>&ip=<your new ip> To receive the unique id for your record:
NOTE: Your domain and record must both have the Dynamic IP option enabled to use this functionality.
